Up until the early 1990s, Steffen and Andreas Rings’ father cultivated fruit orchards as well as vineyards. The 2001 vintage marked a turning point for when the estate officially transitioned to 100% wine production. Each successive year has seen a leap in quality, and in 2015 the winery was accepted as a member of the Verband Deutscher Prädikatsweingüter e.V. (VDP).
