This Chardonnay stayed low brix until the final week of 2017's vintage, when the sugar shot up and the citrus flavors emerged. Left on the lees for 12 months and a tad reductive in style, it developed burnt popcorn, orange peel, and honey aromas. As it ages, the citrus evolves into tropical fruits.
