In 2011, the production of small batches began in individual barrels of grapes, mainly from Altamira, where the idea of ​​the name of the venture came about. Then the possibility arose of acquiring a winery in Vista Flores (Uco Valley), one of the privileged areas for the cultivation of Malbec, expanding the project to the realization of high quality bulk wines, without neglecting the main objective of making microvinifications maintaining the essence of each vineyard and where our bottling line, Albaflor Mabec, Albaflor Cabernet and Albaflor Blend, originate. The winery has a production capacity of 2,300,000 liters, 800,000 liters are produced per year, of which 60% corresponds to malbec, 20% Cabernet Sauvignon, 15% Merlot and the remaining 5% to Syrah. The grape comes from vineyards located between 1000 and 1300 meters above sea level, with great heterogeneity of soils at the foot of the Andes mountain range, obtaining a great diversity of terroir which is reflected in the aroma and complexity characteristics of the wines produced.
